Jonny’s Par-Tay: Personality Not Included
Originally uploaded by kenyaoa
On the worst DC weather day in recent memory, when tornadoes danced in the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia, a healthy crowd showed up at Busboys and Poets to Par-tay with Rohit Bhargava. Rohit fielded questions about his new book “Personality Not Included: Why Companies Lose Their Authenticity And How Great Brands Get it Back.”
Jonny moderated the questions, Scott Stead directed the live tech and streamed video of the event to the web. Our online audience chimed in with their questions and comments, and small business people in the audience asked Rohit advice on their marketing conundrums.
Big thanks to everyone involved, especially Shashi Bellamkonda and Network Solutions their support. Jill Foster did a ton of work behind the scenes to make the event sparkle and that work payed off with a smooth and classy event. Busboys and Poets treated us great (thanks for connecting us Jess3! and big thanks to Pamela). Scott Stead kept the bits, bytes, and lower thirds flowing. And Mogulus heroically rescheduled their sever maintenance so we would have a clear window to stream our show to the web. Max, Valentine, Mark, and Deborah: we love you. Jonny pretty much just had to show up look pretty.
So take a bow everyone. We couldn’t have done it without you. We came, we saw, we Par-tayed. Viva la Par-tay.
